1.     Committee does not agree with Arby's argument for not using/enhancing existing walking paths on both sides of the monument sign near Lorain. Both should remain and be enhanced.

2.     Landscaping:

a.     Larger shade trees out front should be proposed (consider autumn maple)

b.     Consider moving Sgt. Cherry near to patio to provide shade

c.     Reconsider Emerald Gaiety Euonymus and Cherry Laurel for more salt tolerant and native plants to Northeast Ohio

3.     Committee does not agree with Arby's argument that striping in the western curb cut area will help prevent people from turning right during peak hours. Requirement for enhanced obstruction to the right (north) turn movement through enhanced landscaping bed.

4.     Guardrail near Rocky River Dr. needs to be removed and replaced. Rocky River entrance is stark and should be made inviting through landscaping or other treatment.

5.     Rocky River Dr. monument is out of scale with the rest of the signage.

b.     Place larger maple in island at the curve of the Rocky River Drive entrance (near drive-through)

c.     Arby’s will enhance island near Rocky River Drive

d.     Holly will grow very large near patio; reconsider species

2.     Rocky River Drive apron will be repaired

3.     Signage to be separate approval/permit but Arby’s will use “hat” sign instead of “endura” model
